I'm sure it will snow there then because our daughter and son-in-law are coming with us and he's only been out of the state of Ohio once (he's 40) and that was for a funeral. Maybe he'll have a great time and want to come back again.
We wanted to stay at Pruetts but was too late. JR's was booked too so we will be at the Lighthouse. Any comments?
that Pruetts & JR's are booked solid, should indicate that there's good fishing during that time period. The lake should be at full pool ... but, use the map - stay in the channels, when running the lake !!
Shooting docks should be good, at that time, due to the water level. Longline trolling may still be a good option. Working the creek channel edges with jigs or minnows (slow trolling, drifting, bottom bumping) is always an option. Casting jigs to shallow brush & timber is another possibility.
Also, just because you are staying at the Lighthouse, doesn't mean you have to fish around there. It's not a long drive to get to JR's ... where you can launch from, and be close to Little River & Spring Creek (good docks to fish, short boat ride from JR's, good channels to troll, good shallow water areas to try, and very good people to deal with .. who will tell you what's working at that time, and where). ...... luck2ya ... cp
