I got a dozen or so Crappie and hundreds of small gills at Madison County lake this morning. I kept a dozen for dinner, returned the rest. Gills were in 4 to 6 feet of water, most caught on an inline spinner. Crappie came on isolated brush in 10 to 15 feet of water with a 1/16oz Pink Bobby Garland. The water was clear, visibility of 18 to 24 inches and 80 degrees. Nothing great, but at least I got on the water for the morning!
