I have faith you can pull crappie out of a mud hole on any given day. Prove me wrong.

Can anyone think of where there's some clear water?
I've got some time and want to chase a few Crappie, but everything is high and muddy.

You might try over behind Saginaw, there was still clear water in there last Saturday. I am trying to figure out where to go tomorrow morning myself. I may just go out for a paddle and explore some new water. I have been wanting to look at the old Moulton City Lake and the back end of Mallard Creek, but I have no ideal how muddy they would be now.
Ditch there's some place down my way if you what to drive a little
I got a dozen or so Crappie and hundreds of small gills at Madison County lake this morning. I kept a dozen for dinner, returned the rest. Gills were in 4 to 6 feet of water, most caught on an inline spinner. Crappie came on isolated brush in 10 to 15 feet of water with a 1/16oz Pink Bobby Garland. The water was clear, visibility of 18 to 24 inches and 80 degrees. Nothing great, but at least I got on the water for the morning!
Much better Report than what I had/experienced this morning!

Congrats on your catch! Maybe I need some lessons from some Alabama Yakers :-)

The delta is messed up but falling. Hoping to get out next week but muddy water is the norm down here.
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
Work has kept me busy and the weather hasn't helped either.
I like to spend this time of the year on the rivers, but their all high and muddy. Good to have a job, but it sure interferes with fishing, LOL.
