    Default Jigs under lights?

Have started trying night fishing under lights with minnows. Anybody ever tried jigs under lights? Any luck?

Jigs work very well at night. You might try fishing a jig around dock lights to.

i was just about to post about the night fishing in north Alabama. I haven't been out in a really long time, but was going to try to fish honey comb or town creek (g'vill state park) bridge in a few weeks. I've done really well in the past fishing the bridges at night my big green light post spawn when the crappie should be moving back deep.

Anybody had in luck lately night fishing Gville bridges?

We were tightling Towncreek bridge at night a few weeks back before the storm hit and dropped line 9-12 ft in 30 ft of water and caught about 25. The guy I was with has a green light but refuses to use it. Could've caught more. Good luck!

The 69 bridge is where i do best at night with jigs. By the pump house the light is always on and its good for bank fishing. Blk and chart tube on 1/32 jig. Catch them there all year round

I built a big Green led light and bought a smaller one. The big light brought in a school of shad that you could almost walk across. The crappie I caught were way out of the visible light ball and bit very timid. I have also hung Coleman lanterns over the water, attracted plenty of bait and caught the crappie on the edge of the bait ball. You could see them dart through the the bait picking them off. Any shad that were injured and floated up were picked off as they drifted out. I said all that to say I have done better with a Lantern hanging over the water or off of dock lights over the water. Just my personal experience your mileage may vary.
