Default Kayak Trip Report, Lilly Pond/Cain Slough

I made a short trip to Lilly Pond this morning floating a few jugs for Channel Cats. Lilly gets overloaded this time of year and culling a few out means not as many on my jig rods in the summer when spider rigging. I fished from 7AM till about 10:30AM with chicken liver about 18 inches deep. I left with four coolers full, cleaned 43. Anyone looking for some kitty fish for the Memorial Day fish fry or just a fun day with the kids, Lilly Pond is the place. I hope to look for some Crappie Monday if we get a break in the weather.
