Since I can't make it out this weekend, I decided to go out with my wife for about an hour prior to sunset. Launched from Triana today for the first time this year and boy do they have the main road to the launch all torn up due to the water intake facility - EXTREMELY rough road. Caution for all those who launch there this weekend.
We just stayed in Indian Creek for sake of time - caught 3 stripe, 1 small largemouth, and 2 crappie (12" & 9"). They seemed most interested in a 2" white Berkley grub bait with a black head along with a 2" Rebel chartreuse crawfish crankbait.
Water temperature was ~57 up the creek and about 52 at the mouth.

The water was 52-57???? Wow!
How clear or muddy was the water?
