Logsam,. Call "the crappie shack" in Dothan. They have been in business a long time. If anybody knows about the jig or the company it would be them. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas

There is a post in the Georgia forum from November 17 about a spinning lure known as "The Thing". It was a keel
weighted spinner with a foam bodied spider with rubber legs. I remember it was sold from a company in Columbia (or Colombia) outside Dothan on the Georgia line. It was Columbia (or Colombia) Bait Company. I tried several years ago to find it, but it has apparently gone the way of other small companies. I heard it was maybe owned by Red Holland at one time, not sure.
If anyone has information on the lure or the company please help. Thanks.
Are you kidding? There is a business named the Crappie Shack close to me? Gotta visit this place.
