Well I guess the weather followed me from ky. Hunt went good with the cold weather, Sunday 17degrees in the bottoms. Seen 27 myself, bro 23, dad 12. Took a 2 1/2 y o thin rack cull for the team, had a nice 150- 160 class ten come with in 30 - 40 yards an never could get on him, smart booger stayed in the beach trees on me. Fishing. Yesterday had friend call he has family in town asked if I could take them out. Like to of sh!t when turned on depth finder to see water temp at 58. When I headed to Kentucky on the 10th it was 68 - 70... knew it was going to be tough. Fished 3 hrs in evening. Had 3 y o and 9 yo in boat, I shot some docks and would set the hook and let the little guys reel them in. They had a ball, they had never caught crappie before, they live on coast and pier fish. Ended with 6 keepers 9 shorts. Electric chicken. Today very tough for me. 1 short Fished 8:00- 1:30. Shot docks, trolled, spider rigged. Water temp 55 - 58 Depending on location on lake. I guess ill set an alarm and go beat myself in the head again in the morning. I FISH because the Voices in my Tackle box tell me to, and the won't Shut up until I go!!!!!!

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
The wife and I spider rigged yesterday on Neely Henry and struggled to catch 10 crappie and a couple of small bass.

Darn cold fronts, seems I'm never able to get out on day 2 or 3 after they settle back in.
