It was a fine morning and I could only make a short trip. I was rigging in David's Lake from 7:00 till 9:30 and couldn't get on the fish. Only had 2 keepers and a half a dozen shorts although 2 or three of them would have made 9" barely. Water finely dropped below 70 degrees to 67. Caught the fish on a bubble gum/chartreuse hot grub and electric chicken baby shad, both on 1/16 red sickle hook jig. Tide was very low and on the neap as this are is effected by the coastal tides. Not another soul on the lake I was fishing, and it is a Holliday. Name:  image.jpeg
