Far as I know the whole place is high and muddy. I went to Bayou Sara this morning looking for decent water. Not bad color but was high, mixed flood tide with the rise coming down I guess. Water was running through the marsh at the head of Little Catfish. Slow trolled around the sunk barges and deep bends up Bayou Sara with minners and jigs for about an hour and a half with no luck. Got out my fly rod with some crickets for a little while and caught 8 or 9 Brim, all released, before I drug up. Few boats slowed down to ask what I was doing and sounds like their morning was like mine. Slim Pickens.
