No. LEDs are very energy efficient. I did find out it won't run on 24 volts. It's set up on 12. Volts.

Thanks Lee. One of the products I sell is LED light bulbs for home use and they are very efficient. Wasn't sure how they were on the DC side. I was looking at a submersible LED light but see this as a more practical solution as well as a much better cost. Thanks for turning us on to Southern

Sorry to keep asking questions, but what depth of light penetration do you get? I know water clarity has a lot to do with is but say just the perfect lightly stained?

They light up the houses on the shoreline so I'm gonna say they penetrate the water pretty deep. They draw the fish in if they are in the vincinity
