Default Logan Martin last four days

Took two vacation days with my normal two days off so got to fish four days. Weather was great except for the hurricane force winds. Got chased away every day but did catch some fish each day. Worse day was 15 best day was 40. Long lined in 8 to 18 feet of water. Tuesday was fantastic. Caught 40 crappie, tons of bass. 30 of the 40 crappie were at least 1.75lbs with ten around 2.5lbs. After ten each day bite slowed way down and wind became to bad to fish. Black and chartreuse was best color as usual. I think if your not using black and chartreuse on most of your poles in the morning on Logan Martin your missing fish. I normally change to lighter colors after ten or so depending on how cloudy it is. Compared to last week fish are fatter and darker so they are steadily moving in now. Water temp was about 56

Good report congrats on the nice some fish. You are spot on about the black and chartreuse, I would add green and chartreuse to. I fish those two jigs exclusively Pre.spawn on Logan Martin. Keep on smoking them buddy.

I use light green and chartreuse a lot after the morning bite! I normally use six poles and change two colors out on a regular basis until I find something they keep hitting.

    Good looking fish
If we did what was most important in life there would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles
