I change reels and line weights for each application but they are a good all around rod to cover all the bases. 14' is about max length unless you are spider rigging real skinny water and need the baits way out front. I have found that Monk's in NC has pretty good pricing when ordering multiple qty's. Just my two pennies.
What he said. the pro staff trolling rod is hard to beat for an all around application rod. you can do all of the above with them. i prefer different length rods when long lining and cranking, but you could make all 14 footers work if you had to.
