The depth finder is a hummingbird, one of the cheaper models. It's really nice having one on there for depth and water temp. I have a bird 798 with side imaging that came off my other boat, that I may put on it.

I'm wondering how you attached the depth finder to the boat? Are the wires exposed & hooked
    directly to the battery?

I got the depth finder mounted in the corner, I have the cables bundled together and run down behind the battery. Yes hooked directly to the battery.

Have you rigged the fish finder where it is removable? Thanks
