    Up North those yellow perch can get to 2 lbs, not uncommon to catch them at a lb.

    DB you had a great day thanks for the info. I need to fish limestone but its hard to leave the Big G. Keep catching them.

    I have the same problem, I need to fish the Big G, but never seem to make the trip with lake Wheeler so close to me.

    Yeah ditch that north end is the place. I love fishing in there. Years ago before the road washed out. You could drive to that hole on the north end.

    One of my favorite skinny water locations during the fall draw down. Great when the water is at full pool also, but you have lots of company.
