fished from 4 to 7;30 p.m caught 12 crappie and a bunch of skip jack. The water was clearing up but the current was really moving around 6 p.m.Got really cold with the wind blowing gave up and went home.Best bate pink tube and Chartruce with a red head. ONLY 4 crappie on minnows.

Good job in less then ideal conditions.
I seems the Crappie have more of a reaction strike at whatever they see when the water is muddy. I wonder how spider rigging or long lining road runners would work? That way you can cover more water quickly but still have the flash and vibration of a spinner?

I think spider rigging would be great right now with the water up over the top of the grass.Water was getting clearer but still stained and the backwaters.Where I was fishing a spinner would only attract skipjacks and stipe.
