    Default Need Some Advice Please

We are looking to take a spring trip for crappie and love to longline troll but will do whatever it takes to catch a few. The past few years we have been going to Ky Lake with some success. We are looking to head to Alabama and have looked at Weiss (have been there a few years ago), Logan Martin, and or any other suggestions. We really like lakes that have more quantity with some slabs as that tends to keep the day going better. Any advice is appreciated. We are planning to come down March 25 - April1. Thank you!

Weiss, Neely Henry or Logan Martin would all work for what you are wanting. If you stayed around Neely Henry you would be within a 45 min. drive to all 3 lakes and could fish them all.

Guntersville is excellent that time of year as well. You should be able to long line any of the lakes you or Roger mentioned that time of year.

Thank you Roger! That would make sense. Have not looked much around Neely Henry.

Thank you Bob! Not familiar with Guntersville. I believe it is part of the Tennessee River....i.e Ky Lake? Are the numbers good there compared with the Coosa chain of Lakes?

Castaway it's fishing. LoL Sometimes Guntersville on the TN River smokes the others and sometimes it's the Coosa that boots em out. Don't think you can go wrong with either system. Most of the time on Guntersville its Black Crappie with some occasional whites. I catch a lot more whites on the coosa system.
