    Default Wheeler lake


    Went and fished the stump flats behind the harbor Thursday. The water looked good and they're still pulling water down to winter pool. The stumps are just beneath the water so beware. I honestly didn't catch the 1st crappie just a few stripe. I always appreciate the fishing reports, just wished I had a better one.

    Nice set up. Dont feel bad at least you are out there giving it a shot, one of my mottos is you don't know if you don't go! I would hate for them to keep it wheeler winter low over here on the big G.!!! They do later on in the dead of winter try to get it low to enough freeze some of the grass, course the last 2 years mother nature with those single digit temps a couple of times worked better HA
