Default Had A Great Day Today

I'm still having major knee problem and see the Surgeon on Thursday to deal with it, but today I said the heck with it. I could hurt at the house wishin I was fishin or just hurt while I was fishin. I also had a new Helix 7 SI to try out.
I started fishing at 6:15am and by 8am I had 26 in my cooler with the smallest being 10" and the largest 15" an they averaged 12-13" I caught them in 10' of water about 5' deep on minnows. After 8am I just road around playing with the Helix.
I tried a little experiment and it worked great, I fish with 2 poles and on one I put a Bobby Garland Slab Tickler above the hook and that pole was catching 2 to 1 over the other pole so I put one on the other pole and it equaled out!

That sounds like fun. And I have said the same thing about aches and pains, they don't seem as bad fishing. Keep us posted on the knee. "D"

I just ran the line thru it and then tied the hook on. When the minnow moves it just flashes a little color. I think
the color helped attract the fish to the minnow?

Blackhawk19, Sorry to hear the knee is still hurting. I don't know who your dr. is but, Dr. Robinson did a great job on a buddy of mine last year. He is in Dothan.

I saw my Surgeon this morning and he is going to scope it on Oct 7th and try to put off a replacement for awhile unless he sees more damage then he think. Then he will close it up and schedule a replacement about 6 weeks after that. I told him that's great, that will get me thru fall crappie season :-))))))))
