    Default Kayak, Lilly Pond Sat

With all the rain, high and muddy water I'm making a trip to Lilly Pond tomorrow to pick up a few catfish. Anyone chasing Crappie this weekend?

Looks like the channel cats took a beating.!!! fine catch.I like catching them because of the never give up fight, and while they are tasty ,they definitly have the fish taste and other than a flat head I usually will not eat them from the back waters or rivers just too addicted to crappie and gills

I agree, I'd rather eat Crappie any day. My wife and son like Channel Cat so I make a couple trips a year and catch a few for them.

I like crappie but catfish are a welcome addition to the dinner table.
