Glad to hear no one was hurt and you had no fire. I have seen some bad things lightening has done to places in South Alabama when I was an Electrician.

Headed out this morning for the first time since the Lightning strike. Yea, our house was struck Mon. A week ago. We had just arrived home from our mini vacation to Lake Martin and were sitting in our living room watching Fox News when POW lightning struck the dormer on the roof. It took out the AC condensing unit, phones, a bunch of electronics, some recepticals, some damage to the house and the wind out of our sails. Luckily no fire. Been busy addressing those issues. Maybe I Can catch a fish this morning to take my mind off of it.![]()

Sorry to hear that. Time on the water will help you get over the bad luck.

Just got home from fishing. Water muddy and rising again. Caught 1 sac. And 1 catfish. At least I was out in the boat and fresh air. Everything in the house is back to normal now except the damage to my dormer but it is secure and will be repaired by a contractor friend of mine. My days of working on a roof are over. Nothing a few bucks wouldn't fix. Thanks for the concern.
