Default Lake Martin or Martin Lake

My wife and I are headed for Lake Martin this weekend for a mini vacation. We have a house right next to Chuck's Marina. My sweet wife has been following Chuck's on face book. We are taking the boat to do some riding and sight seeing. I'll bring some poles, not really going to fish but might try a little. Any suggestions? We will be there Fri. afternoon and will be leaving Mon. morning.

Don't know what a SS party is but I think the fish are probably slow everywhere. I only had 5 yesterday morning.

We just got home from lake Martin. It was a great weekend on a beautiful lake. We spent the most of two days in the boat riding and sight seeing. It sure is different from the delta where I am at. I have never seen so many boats on the water continuously. It could be a calm wind day and the lake would still be choppy from all the boat wakes. We toured the shoreline on everything east of Chimney rock. Didn't see but three boats fishing all weekend, early morning. I know why. Boy there is some deep water there too.

Oh by the way I do know this is only a small portion of the lake, but we covered a lot of water.
