A Little change of Pace

After a so so spring of chasing crappie and shell crackers, think I'll head south to Cocodrie next week for some speckled trout fishing. Hope I get some good weather.

Good luck. You might want to try Vinci LA. Vinci is the best place I've ever been for trout and reds. Give Brandon carter of reel shot guide service a call. He is the man. Best trip I ever had.

Thanks Lowe. Been going to Terribone Parish for several years. I Usually go two to three times a yr. for a week at a time. Made a friend a long time ago who was born and raised there and over the years he has taught me the area. If the weather is right I'll limit out everyday this time of the year. I know there are many excellent places to fish in La. but I am going to stick with the area I know. Besides Guide fees are outrageous.

dularge and cocodrie are on fire right now. a buddy of mine took a 4 man charter out yesterday and sent me the cooler shot of 100 big ones at 8am. matrix shad double rigged over shell beds. go early been a lot of 15 - 20 knot winds lately
