Got a late start cold front 27 degree air temp. Had plans to de-winterize my camper.. Did not do that ! Had a 5 yr. old great grandson 10 phone calls it was 11:00 am before we got on the water to test some new bait colors! Took an hour to find them! Water temp. Went from 69- 59.3 yesterday wind blowing 15 mph. The wind had push the bait up on a point with a huge flat near by! Noticed the depth of fish. I modified a 1/24 th head and bingo! Fish bonanza ! My great grandson was all over the place he had 3 fish, and the biggest! I would hold his rod while he reeled the. Grab one of mine fish on. I just had to laugh. As bad as I needed a peaceful day of fishing ?nope that ain't happening! I gave Brantley my ball and strike counter Hoping it would help him focus? We had 437 fish! I'm just saying! Had to leave at 2:30 pm to take the girls to Cave Springs to eat!😣and leave the fish biting! Had 16. 5 over 10" and Brantley had a 14" black. A dandy fish! Here is the bait that put on a show! 3-1 to all others! We dipped just the paddle of one and they jumped on it but out of time to see if it was a game changer!

Love that color. Would think a chartreuse tail would really kick it up a notch!
