What happened to the fish on Guntersville went Saturday caught about 50 most were short 17 keepers fish were in 3-5fow went today fished hard tried everything only managed to find 6 All 12-14 inches wished I knew what to do when fish had lock jaw???![]()

A buddy of mine went this evening and ended up with 20 slabs. They fished tree tops in about 5 ft of water with a jig under a cork. Hopefully the bite is heating up

been tough for me this week as well . today was tough only a few keepers. water temps was 65 to 68 tuesday. today the temp was 60..i hope itsd just early, my buddy told me he didnt crappie fish until first full moon in april. so maybe hes on to something?
Have heard stories of some catching lots of fish but haven't actually seen any evidence fished hard Friday with 19 keepers most from trolling 1/16 jig very slow in 8-11fow shot some docks Saturday around 8 fow for second time absolutely loved it had 16 keepers sure would like to learn more about that. Have seen and talked to lots of people crappie fishing this week and it's all been slow on b g .it get better in couple more weeks.
