I caught some from the lake shore causeway Monday. I was fishing a green and chartreuse jig 2 ft under a float. I would try straight across from the boat ramp first. There's a lot of trees on that side of lake shore

Hey guys, I am going to be fishing Neely Henry this weekend with my Dad and son and just looking for any advice. I have failed marvelously thus far at finding the fish![]()
and not looking for anyone's secret spots but just some help. Even last weekend I found several boats in the clear creek area but I couldn't find a fish to save my life. I am not set up for spider rigging but have enough minnow or jig rigs to throw out. I will be putting in at the lakeshore drive boat ramp. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks! When you say fish it under the float, is that simply cast and slow retrieve or do you bounce it or twitch? Just curious all I've ever done with jigs is without cork. Thanks!
I was using a cigar float and twitching and pause but sometimes they Like it slow and steady. Just try different retrieves also sometimes I will use a round float. all floats give different action I use 3 different floats for different conditions and presentations

Also try black and chartreuse jig sometimes that's a good color in lake shore.
