I've never purchased from them but they have a good reputation . They have been there a long time.good luck with your purchase and look on Wedowee marines website. Randy is a good scout and usually has some used boats.

Hey 'Bama neighbors! I'm in the boat market and have been looking for a deal on a deep v model. They are virtually non-existent here in Florida, but I did come across this one:
2011 Targa Combo
Anyone familiar with this dealership? Are they reputable, legit, etc? It would be an 8 hour drive for me, but could be a good deal.
Appreciate any insight and thanks in advance!

Thanks Bama S. The boat has a Crappie decal on it, so I take that as a good sign lol![]()

Might look around for a 2014 closeout deal, looked and the tracker site and that boat with the 115 4 stroke on it was 25K. I really like the lay out of that rig.

I've got a ProGuide V-175 on hold at BPS in Orlando for around 21k with the 115 4-stroke. It's probably what I will be going with, just doing some last minute research. I like the idea of a 150 for family outtings. I'm also limited on size for garage storage, but the V175 and Targa are a great layout for my longlining, multispecies fishing, and some recreation.

I really like my G3 bay DLX 20, you may want to check them out.
A bay boat in general would be my first choice, but I can only store a boat in my garage that is unfortunately very small.

Just got off the phone with Sylacauga Marine. Seems like a nice enough guy. It's a one owner boat, no lien. The previous owner moved from Oklahoma to AL where the boat is not practical for river fishing. Said all the accessories are functional and they filled the hull with water and did a pressure test that showed no leaks. He's going to pull the engine hours, RPM history, and also check if any warranty work has been done. Should have some engine warranty left on it.
Thoughts? What else should I be looking for on it before I decide if its even worth the trip to test drive it. I was even thinking if any of you gentlemen are in that area and could look it over for me, I would gladly compensate ya.
