    Default SMITH/LIMESTONE 11-11

I took a vet down to Smith Monday night and we fished till about 1. Water is very low and dingy for Smith. Nothing on the lights but an occasional stripe. We sat on one light for a while and he decided to try some tree tops close to the bank and we ended up with 4-5 slabs and one big stripe. They just aren't on the lights right now.

Took my dad to Limestone the next morning and fished till about 1 in the afternoon. Caught 50 probably and only two where big enough to keep. Talked to several people and their results where about the same. Enjoyed the time with pops. First time we fished together in years. He enjoys it but he's a very fair weather fisherman.

Hunkering down for the cold for a while. Love on mama and the babies and get some chores done. Try it again later.

    God Bless.

Was wondering if Limestone was holding any fish yet. Thanks for the report. Always good to catch a trip with dad.

The lights on my home lakes don't produce in the fall and winter. Try them next summer you will do good on them in may and June.
