Cool Off work and trying Flint Creek tomorrow.

Just finished charging the batteries and tying jigs on 3 rods. I am almost ready to head out in the morning. I am anxious to try out a new fish finder and see if the crappie are biting. I tried to copy a couple of Shipahoy41's rigs and am using double jigs 1 rod is rigged with a waggler float and the other 2 slip floats. Bobby Garland and Lake Fork plastics. I will post how I do when I get back. I still have to rig 2 long poles for tight lining.

Got off to a rough start this morning. I had been doing some rewiring on my boat and left the nuts off the battery...found 1 in the boat and found another in the truck so finally got going. Only caught one crappie, but still had good time. Picked up 2 bass and a bunch of striped bass. Actually tied on a crank bait and had a blast with the striped bass. I caught the 1 crappie while slow rolling a jig alongside a tree trunk 1/16 oz jig with Lake Fork body in chartreuse. Sorry I did not notice the water temp...fished Flint just off 31. No one I talked with had done any good this morning.

Thanks for the update/report. Sorry it didn't put more in the fish box, but sounded like a fun time.
