I use Wally Marshall rods because of price, just starting out I needed to maintain a budget, I have a Ranger set up to pull out Back and front ( sides) @ Weiss when it's just me I use 14' ,12', 10' . When Back home on Allatoona I use the same set up but on both sides! My personnel study when I have a partner, the man in the back always catches more when long trolling, something to the turbulence from big motor? Rod holders maybe as important as the rods, hi tech holders get my vote.
