    Default Brackish crappie?

Hey fellows. The waters I fish are rivers that are tidal and very close to salt water. I have caught a crappie in a feeder Creek but was wondering if I should expect to catch them in brackish waters or should I move further up the river to stay fresh. I see a lot of post out of Louisiana but not sure if they are in the brackish bayous or further to the north. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I lived on Black creek/river freeport fl for awhile. I never caught a Crappie in brackish water. The Crappie l caught were up in the river. Ask this question on the Florida forum.
