Fished Neely Henry again today, 7/1/2014. Today I could only get fish to bite fishing around humps by the river channel, could not get any on the actual channel edge. Caught 18 and lost 5 more at the side of boat and missed about 15 other good bites. All caught 10-12 feet deep today. Water temps were 81.4-85.2.

I have to make some time to go and chase them next week before I have to spend the following week in Chicago and travel into the following week. This work stuff is really getting in the way of fun.

My 3 kids and I went out Saturday night and fished under lights anchored up on the river channel. We caught approximately 90 crappie from 9"-14" and about 30 more short fish using minnows. We brought home 40 nice ones and had a big fish fry on Sunday afternoon. The bite started around 10PM and we left with them still biting at 3:30 AM. The fish suspended from 8'-12' under the lights. The kids were having a ball and I had a ball watching them catch the fish none stop.
