    Default Logan Martin Spider Rigging


    Decided to try Logan Martin this morning. Fished from 5:30 till 12:00. Caught 16 crappie with all of them being keepers. Also caught 10 trash fish. Caught them all spider rigging with minnows. Water temps were 84-87. Caught them from 10 feet to 18 feet deep. Fought a pretty stiff wind and finally just got tired of it and came home.

    Stuck in a sales meeting in Indiana through Thursday. Step of the plane in BHM Thursday afternoon and have to drive to Memphis. Stuck there all day Friday. Itchin to get out on the main river channel with my Bandits, Guess it will have to be next week some time.

    Went to Logan Martin this morning didn't get there until 9:30 tried crank baits with 0 fish and lots of water fleas. I am going back to spider rigging. Thanks Roger for the report.
