The ditch that runs to the creek is shallow. Today it was about 2-2.5ft deep (Wheeler level at 556ft today behind dam). There were a few spots it probably gets hairy for the fiberglass bass boats.
Water level immediately once you get to the creek is not as deep as the pond.
I didn't catch anything in the creek, but I did venture into Cottonmouth Pond. What a name! Not much happening in there. Not any visible lay downs to jig.
I fried up the day's catch for dinner tonight. Glad these heavy storms didn't hit while I was out on the water!
