Big G 25 Apr
Well, I finally decided give one of my old favorites a try this morning. Went to a causeway on Hwy 79 to see if there were any fish hanging around. Ended up with a total of 8 Keepers 2 real nice big bull bream and probably had about 15 short fish. Shout out to Doug and Dexter if you're on this page. Was good to meet you guys and spend some time on the water with you. Fish hit both minnows and jigs. BG Bluegrass was the color of choice yesterday. Was a real good wind current moving thru which helped to set the fish up for casting and jig fishing. All the fish were Black crappie and only two had spawning colors. The females were spawned out and already starting to develop new egg sacks for the next run. Some of the fish were very white like they had been in deep water lately. Maybe because they had been under the causeway out of the sun. Was not a killer day, but not a bad little mess of fish. Will proably have to do some of those fish tacos again for dinner tonigh!!
