Bob is right. Those islands can be tricky. Talk about water going up and down all around that area. I've fished there a few times, but not enough to be very confident. That rock wall across from it in Browns Creek used to be the hottest spot on the lake for crappie in the 70s and 80s.

I'm gonna be in the islands tomorrow trying for whatever crappie are left.


That rock wall is Street's Bluff. Dang GOOD place to catch blue and channel cat when they're spawning and they should be right now thru the end of May.
