After a couple of skunks and a few days of fishing all day to get 7 or 8 random fish, I finally hit paydirt this morning. Caught 27 from 7am to 9:30am. Should have easily had my limit, but thanks to the jacka55 bass fisherman that saw me catch a 5.5 lb bass and moved in right on top of me I had to keep maneuvering around them and couldn't get the boat to hit the right speed and course over the spot I was fishing. Then the wind got so bad there was no hope no matter what. Largest is 15.5" and smallest is 12". Mix of males and females.....females had little to no eggs. Fish were VERY aggressive today......fought like bass.....whereas they usually just come to the top and "surf" across the top of the water to the boat. Was by myself and several times had 3 or 4 fish on at once. Beautiful chaos! Color didn't seem to matter, used 1/16 jig heads (all colors) and curly tail grubs (whatever color I could grab the quickest and get back in the water). Water temp was finally 60 degrees and these fish had a giant school of shad surrounded and were murdering them. That's how I got the bass, as well. Fishing 8-10 ft water about 4 ft deep at .8 -.9 mph.

What area of the lake, without giving up your exact spot? I don't do any spider rigging so I'm no threat.
Good job.
