    Tough tough. Caught 5 crappie but only 2 keepers. Wind beat us up and kept the boat out of position or too slow or too fast or crooked all day.

    When I used to fish Pickwick up around Waterloo I made a drift sock for days like today. I could control my drift speed and caught a lot of fish using it when I'd otherwise have to pack it in.

    i will not fish in wind like that. it was hard enough on the golf course yesterday.

    A drift sock can be your best friend at times.... I keep 2 in my boat.
