    I am a boomer and I fish for crappie regularly. Someone please tell me what
    a SILENT TALKER is if its a good thing and where I can get one.

    Bass pro shops sell SILENT STALKER crankbaits. Many items labeled silent stalker from boots, clothing and guns. Hope this helps!

    Wave slap will definitely spook stripers and sometimes suspended crappie on a sunny day. I have not particularly seen where it bothers bass that much. Now a wide open outboard of 150 HP of more flying by is another matter. I think it partially stuns them if close enough.
