    Default Weiss. (Mud creek)

That's where my camp site is located! Loaded up wife and dogs for three days! Got there wed afternoon set up camper and then hit the water cold wind and heavy stain managed two keepers. That set me up for Thursday, water temps 54 warmed to 58. Then Thursday proceeded to eat humble pie all day! Pulled home made jigs (Hal flies) and jig head with soft plastics loads of little fish no keepers! No females all skinny very white colored males ! My orange head aqua body chartreuse tail did good as well as Charlie brewer paddle tail blue chart, my version of john deer caught some too! Fish were suspended out in middle several depts. 4'3"
3'9" 2'9" pulled 1/24-1/32 head weights @ .9-1.2. Only when I off and on with t/r did I get bit. Or in a turn they wanted it slowly falling I guess? I'm one of those who can catch them when they're biting and a bench warmer when it's tuff! Getting ready to hit it again will have a partner this am from our camp site! Hard frost and fog right now! Will post what I find! Asked the good Lord for an intervention and loose those fishes mouths in Jesus name! I need some help! Later LB

Maybe they were higher in the water than your jigs since you only got a bite when speeding up. Found that happening with me yesterday so stayed at 1.2 and started catching them
