Default Lookin' for a new fishin' hole

Hi Everybody, I just moved to Pike county (Troy) and am itchin' to go fishin'. I like to catch any fish that swims. Partial to Crappie, Catfish, and Bream. No boat yet, but plan on getting a kayak soon. Any knowledge of where to try in this area would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks, Richard

Depends on how far you want to travel. I have relatives living near Troy that fish Eufaula alot.
Alabama River in Montgomery is probably closer. Both lakes have good crappie fishing.

Thanks, guys. I'll check out both of those, Stymie. Anybody know about the Pea River? It looks good from the bridge at Elba. It sure feels good to be back in LA!!!

You should really try to hook up with Blackhawk. I haven't seen him post in a while however. Hope he is OK.
