Took my aunt fishing for 2 hours had to leave when she fell. We were it Honey Comb bridge found some crappie under the bridge from the bank.Boat pulls up anhors in front of us with than 25 feet now were cut off. Then 2 others walk down on us on either side. Now we have 6 people fishing a 15 by 30 area no way can we all fish this area. She gets up when she see's I had enough and falls because she is cut off.68 YEARS old very lucky she did not break a bone! she got wet up to the hips and bruised.I was so angry and hurt because she was in tears. One day soon someone will pay a price for their rudeness.

Why would someone in a boat fish close to someone fishing from shore? That's just wrong, what the (/$& do you have a boat for. Think I would start picking up rocks and throwing them where they are fishing.

Buy a kayak, get off the bank and fish where the big boats can't!

Long lining in a tournament last weekend n Logan when a b******* ran up behind me and cut in between me an the bank in space less than 50' wide. Asked if I was catching them and told him I was until he cut me off. Had young child in the boat so I couldn't fully express myself. All he said was sorry and turned his back. Wasn't on the spot more than five minutes and roared out to cut someone else off I'm sure. Maybe I should keep a couple of good chunkin rocks in the boat. Courtesy among fishermen is really starting to bottom out. It's all part of our new "I'm the most important person here" world. Sad state of affairs.

When I first started running a boat with my Dad, he told me one day when I got to close to a bank fisherman, He said BOY see that man there I said yes sir, and he said that we were in a boat and that we could go anywhere we wanted to go, but that man was limited on where he could fish and it was not right to run in on him. I have tried not to do that anymore. That was 50 years ago and I can still here my Dad say that. every time I see it happen. Besides If I had of done it again he would have knocked my teeth out.

It does not matter if you have a boat or fish from the bank at Guntersville. One spot I fish I always get there first and it is close to a bank fishing area. I know that people fish it from the bank and when I get there first I still back off and leave room for them. Other boats will come right between me and the bank fishermen, and everywhere else around me. I could literally hop from boat to boat on all sides without getting my feet wet. Sorry for you incident, it seems to be dog eat dog these days on the water.
