    Default Logan Martin 2/18/2014

It must have been really bad on Logan Martin today for everyone. No post from USAFRET99 and noticed he was gone when I came in at 2:30. Saw RogerA in the Civic Center slough and all he had to report was catfish. Me and my partner zeroed. Maybe the weather will stay warm through the week and by Monday they will be tearing it up while I spend the next two weeks traveling. Please leave a few for when I get back.

On a side note, anyone interested in having a good time and competing against some really god crappie fishermen and women, come join the Coosa River Crappie Cub. We will be having our annual kick-off meeting this Saturday the 22nd. Information is available on the CRCC home page on the Alabama forum.

I gave up at noon. Only had 3 crappie and a few bass. I went just about everywhere I could think of and nothing. Did notice the water warmed about 3 degrees by the time I left. Gonna wait and try again Friday. Maybe temp will be back in 48 range. Not sure but I think between the cold water and full sun on the water it gave them lock jaw. I'm thinking next week will be good after water warms and outside temps turn to normal February temps.

Was a tough day for sure. We managed 1 crappie, several catfish up to 10 lbs. and a few bass and stripe up to 5 lbs.
