Thread: Rochouse De-Watering Pumps?

They have opened our pumps early this year. One pump opened partially in early January and as of last weekend the game warden told me they would open them both fully as of this past Monday but I have not checked. They were waiting until after the juvenile duck hunt. They use to not open these tiles until around April, then they moved up til March, then it went Feb and then back to March and then this year it was January. They base it now around here on water levels and the ending of duck season, not sure about where you are talking about though. They hurt the fishing at this pump area with all the changes they made for the ducks.

Went to rockhouse this monring and the pumps were not running. Water was down a couple of feet from last week and there were no shad schools moving around. Water was very clear. But did not manage to get even a sniff on my jig.

Are you all talking ab the pump house over on the refuge?

Went out to the pumphouse earlier this week. Water was running pretty well but it still appears that the crappie haevent moved into that area. I hope that changes soon.
