Fished yesterday for a couple hours 10:30 AM until 3 PM and caught close to 200 fish of which 53 were keepers, most of which were 10"-13". Fish are still shallow in 4' to 6' of water. Used 1/32 oz. jig head and Southern Pro Hot Grubs. Boat speed was .8 to 1.0 mph. There were about 15 boats fishing this area and most left early with a limit of fish.

Thanks for the report
Awesome report. Very detailed. Thank you. I am surprised they are that shallow this early. I used to catch them deeper this early in the season (in 10 to 14 feet of water with the fish 8 to 12 feet down). Probably because I fished mornings. I hope to get my boat out in a few weeks.
Terry,
Were you in the area that you mentioned a little while back that you said was spring fed and the water temp was 2-4 degrees higher than in the main channel.........just curious?
Way to go Terry! Been looking to run across you fishing around there but seems I am fishing the days you are not! Lol I had a good day on Weiss yesterday 2/10 as well.

Saw you out there on Friday as well. Good to hear that your back is better.
