    Unhappy Town Creek


    Fished Town Creek with my buddy Sat. Water temps in the lower 40's. Huge bait clouds in the main channel. We were trolling jigs on 1/16 and 1/8 jig heads. Light and dark colored bodies. Did not seem to matter....they weren't biting for us. One crappie and several white bass.

    I went 3 weeks ago and never even saw any bait clouds or fish in there. I think this cold weather has kept them outta there so far

    We did not see any in the usual area by the rip rap up in the cove. They were more on the edges of the creek channel.
