Thread: Logan Martin 1/15

Went out a little late yesterday. Fished from 930 to 2. Caught 15 crappie and a boat load of bass (bass were everywhere). Water temp was back up to mid 40's but the problem was the water level was up as well which caused most of the areas I was trying to fish to be full of pine needles, leaves and trash. A real pain when long lining. Looking at the weather I think I'm done until Monday then hit it hard everyday next week. Weather looks good. Most fish I caught were in 6 to 10 feet of water. On 1/32 oz jigs black and chartreuse jig. Did see some old guys throwing jigs under bobbers to the shore and reeling slowly back in. They said they were catching a few but couldn't get but one bite everywhere they went.
