Arrowhead/Limestone Bay
Fished Arrowhead today. The water was high and there were only three boats, me, a spider rigger and two guys single line fishing. The other guys were using minnows and were killing the crappie. Both boats must have limited out. I caught 5, nice ones, but only five, and I caught them on jigs. The water was stained, not muddy, which was surprising based on the amount of rain last night. The wind would come and go from the west at times blowing about 20mph. Nice fishing day, but I wish I'd brought minnows this time. Water was 44 early but warmed to 47 by late afternoon.

What lake is that. How were u fishing and how deep was the water where they were catching them.

Limestone Bay is wide open area that three creeks local to Limestone County Alabama flow into the Tennessee River, referred to as Wheeler Lake as the river is dammed. Water was anywhere from 3 to 7 feet deep, and we were fishing about 1/2 the depth.

Where is the closest baitshop that sells minnows? Greenbrier gas station?

Or the Chevron about 1/2 mile east on Brownsferry from Mooresville Rd.
