I am wanting to go to either Weiss Lake or Guntersville the first or second week of April. I was going to see which lake would be more promising. I used to go to Weiss every spring but the last time I went was about 15 years ago, and from what I have seen in the forums it is very hit or miss. I am looking to stay in a small cabin or similar on the water pretty cheap and close to where I need to fish. Also I dont want anyone to give away there honey holes but what area of these lakes are best this time of year, and if you all know of any good campgrounds with a launch and something cheap to rent please key me in.
