    I've been fishing some of the sloughs on the south side of Lake Wheeler the last few weeks, I'm catching a half dozen or more Channel Cat in a few hours on marabou Crappie jigs. You'll need a boat, but most of the water is only two or three feet deep. Lily Pond and Leeman Sloughs are both loaded.
